...there was a princess who threw off her sleep schedule so much in two days, she thought she'd never be normal again. The story starts last Thursday, when her friend Lady Jessica called in the morning to say that her water broke. Princess Bede worked all day on Thursday, so that she could take it easy on Friday...maybe take her horse-drawn carriage on a road trip to see the new baby. The Friday came and there was no word on the baby, so Princess Bede worked a typical day...which never seemed to quite end. But lo! She heard on the radio of a festival the next village over! So at 10 PM, Princess Bede looked online for more details about this lovely weekend festival. It turns out there was a half-marathon race to kick off the weekend's events too! So now, at 10:30 PM, Princess Bede remembers that she needs to stay awake until 2:30 AM hallway-sitting for a bunch of Jr. High campers next door. Princess Bede sleeps from 3-6 AM, then leaves her castle for the race. Not only is she exhausted before the race, it turns out that brats really are the breakfast of champions in this strange land that she lives in. For Princess Bede only had a bagel and water for breakfast before the race...Good thing she came in last place, otherwise there may have been an uprising from the villagers. To add to this mystical story though, Princess Bede ran into the Prince she hung out with a bit last Fall, Prince Tony, while she was running ever-so-gracefully in this race. Thank goodness Prince Tony wasn't also running, for he surely would have beat her too...he was in charge of passing out water at mile 5.
Back at the castle, Princess Bede tries to nap a bit, but is too sore from her long morning's voyage. But realizing she also needs to work from 2:30-7 AM Saturday night/Sunday morning (Princess Bede could really use the gas money for her new horse-drawn carriage), she goes to sleep around 9 PM. Life was still at the castle next door until 7 AM, when the princess left to return to her bedchambers. At 9 AM though, the princess awoke, and realized she needed to travel to another far away land...the Dells. For Lady Jessica and her new son, Casey, where awaiting a visit! Princess Bede hopped into her carriage and off she went. Fun was had by all; Baby Casey and Big Brother Nate were of course adorable. Lady and Lord L. were also kinda cute and sleepy themselves, for it had been a long weekend indeed.
Now Princess Bede is back in her castle and ready for bed. For the real fun starts tomorrow! HD Training!!! The biggest festival of the land is finally here!!!
LOL. Goodnight!
